BidBlind is an independently operated digital service based in India. This notice explains how BidBlind handles data for the website, listings, and ranking service. Dodo Payments separately handles hosted checkout as Merchant of Record under its own privacy terms.

Data we process

We process the company or project name, website, email address, optional logo, tagline and social link, payment and checkout identifiers, payment status, round and rank history, moderation reports, support messages, and technical security records. Security records may include timestamps, user-agent information, and truncated or cryptographically hashed network identifiers.

Dodo Payments processes checkout, billing, tax, and payment-method data. BidBlind does not receive or store full card numbers or card security codes.

How we use data

We use data to create and deliver purchased placement, calculate ranks, authenticate listing owners and administrators, send secure access links, process support and reports, prevent fraud and abuse, reconcile payments, maintain an auditable ledger, operate the round archive, and comply with legal obligations.

Live-bid confidentiality

During a live round, payment amounts and cumulative totals remain in private server-side records. Public pages, cached leaderboard snapshots, and share cards contain rank and movement but not live spend. Final amounts become public when the round is revealed, as explained before purchase.

Service providers and disclosure

Limited data is shared with providers that supply payments, hosting, database, cache, email, monitoring, bot protection, and image storage. We may also disclose data when required by law, to investigate abuse or fraud, or to protect users and the service. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and security

Public round archives and the payment ledger are retained to preserve the advertised historical record and meet audit, fraud-prevention, tax, and legal needs. Access tokens expire and are deleted on a rolling basis. Other data is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above. We use access controls, encryption in transit, signed webhooks, and restricted administrative access, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. Some financial, security, and public archive records may need to remain where law or the integrity of a completed round requires it. Send requests to privacy@bidblind.fun. Payment-data requests may need to be directed to Dodo Payments as the Merchant of Record.

Children and updates

BidBlind is not directed to children. We may update this notice as the service or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
